The monumental gate, surrounded by towering towers and ruined statues, gleams in the last rays of golden twilight. The vampire, swathed in a heavy, crimson cloak, reaches out toward an ethereal female figure standing beyond the gate—made of nothing but light and mist. Her silhouette glows with silver and moonlight blues, as if she were the embodiment of soul, destiny, or eternity.
